The repertoire and skills presented in this book draw from the deep well of the Celtic fiddling traditions, including Scottish, Cape Breton, Shetland, Irish, and Old-Time American fiddling.

This volume is designed to complement the Suzuki Method, and teachers can easily incorporate this volume as a supplement to Suzuki book 1 & 2. However, this method is by no means exclusively for Suzuki students and teachers. Amateurs and professionals of all ages and backgrounds with an interest in fiddling will benefit from this book. You can think of it as your fiddling “primer.”
